Record MP3 - record audio to attach to objects in your Notebook lessons. (This is blocked in my district, but you could record at home...) *Don't really need this anymore with the new Notebook 11...other than the fact your recordings are limited to 1 minute in Notebook.

**Animation Library - This is a website where you can download animated .gif images to use in your Notebook lessons. It is recommended that you save the images to your computer first, before inserting the image into your Notebook file.

Grabba Beast - Students can design their own "beasts" that can be used for many purposes in daily classroom activities

Build Your Wild Self - another icon creation website that students can create to be their personal icons for daily activities (just like Grabba Beast)

Sketch and Paint - tools to create really neat backgrounds for your SMART Notebook lessons. When you save the image, be sure to save it as 800 x 600.

Flame - another cool website where you can use different tools to create neat backgrounds for your lessons.

LearnNC - website with tons of lessons and "learning materials". Although some might not be labeled IWB, using Notebook's Transparency Layer, anything from the web is now "IWB" ready!

Animated Clipart - free educational videos categorized by subject. The only issue I see with this website is that a good number of the videos are on YouTube. My district has YouTube blocked, so I would possibly have to preview the videos at home and download them there to be able to view in the classroom. However, these videos can be inserted into Notebook lessons.

NextVista - free online videos, similar to other video source sites like YouTube, School Tube, Teacher Tube, etc.

FindSounds - search engine for sound clips

Media Converters - allows you save YouTube videos to incorporate into your Notebook presentations. Great tool, since most school systems block YouTube.
